Job Requirements:

D or DO degree, completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency and Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship, board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology, and eligibility for state medical licensure. Candidates should have expertise in pediatric perioperative care, airway management, pain management, and anesthesia for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams are essential. Experience in academic, community, or children's hospital settings is preferred.

Job Description:

The Department of Anesthesiology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine seeks a board-certified/board-eligible general anesthesiologist who has completed a Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship. Faculty rank and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must be eligible for Illinois medical licensure at the time of hire.

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, is a nationally ranked academic health system serving the Chicago metropolitan area. The health system includes Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC), Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. LUMC is a 547-bed academic, quaternary care center featuring a Level I Trauma Center, comprehensive children's hospital, transplant center, burn center, and comprehensive stroke center.
