Pediatric Echo Tech

The Pediatric Cardiovascular Sonographer specializes in performing pediatric echocardiograms, including exercise and pharmacological stress tests, as well as transesophageal echocardiograms. This role requires an understanding of human growth and development and age-specific treatment ranges to meet the needs of pediatric patients effectively. The sonographer is expected to perform scans independently in critical care settings, ensuring high standards of practice, quality of care, and a patient-centered approach to service.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of start date.
• Registered in Adult Echocardiography (RDMS or CCI)
• Prior experience in pediatric echocardiography required.
• Must be comfortable taking scans independently as you may be supporting telecardiology.
• Experience in critical care environments like the NICU and PICU is highly preferred.
