Summary

As a Registered Nurse - Pediatrics at Cloverleaf Pediatric, LLC, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to our young patients. This position is essential for supporting pediatricians and ensuring the best possible care for our patients. It is part-time 2 to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Confirm purpose of the visit
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, height, weight, and temperature; hearing and vision testing; reporting patient chief complaint
• Ability for putting children and parents at ease during visit
• Secures patient information and maintains patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records, keeping patient information confidential.
• Carry out tests and administer medication and immunizations on patients in line with the physician’s instructions
• Prepare exam rooms and prep the patient for the visit
• Assist physician when required
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt
• Sterilize medical instruments and properly dispose of contaminated supplies, such as needles and syringes using practice universal precautions when dealing with bodily fluids to protect themselves, their patients, their co-workers and others
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
• Performs chart prep functions for upcoming appointments
• Perform other related duties as directed or required

Qualifications

• Valid Missouri Nurse (RN/LPN) license.
• Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and their families.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Compassionate approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is required, Epic preferred.
