Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care and be passionate about improving the health and well-being of children. As a PNP at Gupta and Gupta Pediatrics, you will work collaboratively with our pediatricians and healthcare staff to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including patient histories and physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions.
• Perform routine procedures such as immunizations, wound care, and minor surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to stay current with best practices in pediatric care.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state.
• Certification by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong clinical skills in pediatric primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of pediatric conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
