Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, particularly with children , and will be passionate about helping individuals improve their communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct speech therapy services to children, focusing on early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on client performance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress.
• Educate clients and families about speech therapy techniques and strategies for home practice.

Skills
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and language development.
• Experience working with children in a pediatric setting.
• Ability to implement effective speech therapy techniques for diverse populations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in acute care settings , HH, and outpatient is a plus but not mandatory.
• A passion for intervention practices that foster communication growth in young learners.

Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
