Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is available to work a Flexible schedule .

To promote high-quality, individualized care, our therapists treat one patient per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one speech-language therapy to each patient.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders within the therapist’s scope of practice.
• Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans.
• Help patients improve their communication skills and ability to participate in daily activities.
• Educate and train patients, parents, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
• Monitor and document patient progress and report significant changes or concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and speech-language development.
• Pediatric experience is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with outpatient and Early Steps service settings is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
