About New Leaf Specialized Therapies
New Leaf Specialized Therapies is a therapy clinic dedicated to helping children and individuals with diverse needs build skills, increase independence, and participate more fully in everyday life. We value individualized, meaningful therapy and a collaborative approach that considers the whole person and their unique goals.
We are preparing to expand our services to include pediatric speech therapy and are seeking a compassionate, motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to help us establish and grow this new service line.
About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join an established therapy clinic at the beginning of an exciting new phase of growth. As our first Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help build our speech therapy program while providing individualized, high-quality care to pediatric clients and their families.
The position is expected to begin part-time, with the opportunity to grow toward full-time as the caseload develops.
Because speech therapy will be a new service line for our clinic, the initial start date will depend on completion of the necessary insurance credentialing, provider enrollment, and contracting processes. We anticipate that these processes may take several months. Clinical services will begin once the required approvals are in place, and we will maintain communication with the selected candidate throughout the process.
We are looking for someone who is interested in joining us for this next stage of growth and is comfortable with a planned program launch rather than stepping into an immediately established caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized speech and language evaluations and evidence-based treatment for pediatric clients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with functional goals and measurable outcomes.
- Address communication needs within your clinical expertise, including receptive and expressive language, articulation, phonology, and social communication.
- Complete timely evaluations, progress reports, treatment notes, and other required documentation.
- Maintain compliance with professional standards, insurance requirements, and applicable documentation guidelines.
- Contribute to the development of speech therapy workflows, programming, and referral relationships.
- Help build a caseload and establish a schedule that can expand as the program grows.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Indiana SLP license or eligibility to obtain Indiana licensure.
- CCC-SLP preferred; clinical fellowship candidates may be considered if appropriate supervision is available.
- Pediatric experience or a strong interest in working with children with diverse developmental, communication, behavioral, and sensory needs.
- Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
- Willingness to complete applicable insurance credentialing and provider enrollment requirements.
- Interest in helping develop a new service line within a growing therapy clinic.
Compensation and Employment
- Employment type: W-2 employee.
- Pay range: $40–$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Schedule: Part-time initially, with potential to grow toward full-time.
- Start timing: Following completion of required insurance credentialing and contracting.
- Growth opportunity: Help establish and develop pediatric speech therapy services within an existing clinic.
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for a clinician who values individualized care, enjoys working collaboratively, and is excited by the opportunity to help build something new. The ideal candidate will bring clinical knowledge, initiative, and a genuine interest in supporting children and families while helping shape the future of speech therapy services at New Leaf.
If you are interested in joining a growing team and helping us develop a meaningful new service for the families we serve, we would love to hear from you.
To apply: Please submit your résumé and a brief introduction outlining your clinical experience, areas of interest, and availability.
