What they need

Beetle & Hare Pediatric Speech Therapy — Georgetown, TX Part-Time | W-2 | Building Caseload | Benefits Available

About Beetle & Hare

You Are So Loved. That's not just something we say to our families — it's the standard we hold ourselves to every single day.

Beetle & Hare is a pediatric speech therapy practice in Georgetown, Texas, built on a simple but deeply held belief: every child deserves care from someone who not only knows what they're doing clinically, but genuinely loves and cares about them — their wellbeing, their happiness, and who they're becoming. When parents tell us Beetle & Hare feels different, that's what they're feeling. We provide the kind of care we would want for our own children.

That means therapy spaces designed to calm and welcome, not intimidate. It means families treated as true partners. It means clinicians who stay curious about the whole child, not just the goal on the page. We specialize in early and functional language, AAC evaluation and implementation, articulation, and fluency — and we have families waiting.

The Opportunity

This is a part-time, W-2 position for a licensed speech-language pathologist ready to build a meaningful caseload within a small, intentional, family-centered practice. We already have a waitlist of families ready to be seen — which means this role has real momentum from day one.

Hours will grow as the caseload establishes, with a clear path toward 10 hours per week and eventually up to 20. We're building something from the ground up and want the right person to grow with us — all the way.

If you're someone who wants to do meaningful, unhurried work with children and families — without productivity quotas, without a corporate structure, and without leaving your life at the door — we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct speech-language evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Provide direct therapy services with a primary focus on early and functional language development and AAC
  • Support clients with articulation, fluency, and pediatric feeding as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with our founding SLP and occupational therapist for integrated, family-centered care
  • Maintain timely, thorough clinical documentation
  • Participate in treatment reviews and family coaching as appropriate

Schedule

This is an in-person position based at our Georgetown Square location. We offer scheduling across at least three days per week, with a mix of afternoon and evening availability so families with different schedules can be served. Exact days are built collaboratively with the right candidate.

We'll work together to build a schedule that serves your families and fits your life.

Hours & Growth

This role is designed to grow. Hours begin light as the caseload is established, building toward approximately 10 hours per week and eventually up to 20. Long term, we see a path to full-time for the right fit — with compensation and benefits that reflect that commitment when the time comes.

Compensation

  • $48–$55/hour, commensurate with experience (clinical and administrative time are both compensated)

What We Offer

  • SpeechPathology.com membership for continuing education
  • Licensure renewal reimbursement after 12 months of continuous employment
  • Malpractice and liability coverage provided
  • A schedule built around your life — we mean it
  • A warm, sensory-considerate workspace designed with your clients in mind
  • Genuine collaboration with a founding clinician who cares about the same kids you do
  • Clinical autonomy within a shared philosophy of evidence-based, respectful, family-centered care
  • A path toward increased hours and full-time, with medical, dental, and vision benefits available as the practice grows

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA, or currently completing a Clinical Fellowship
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (CFY experience considered)

Preferred:

  • Experience in early language development, AAC, or functional communication
  • Background in school-based or early intervention settings
  • Familiarity with pediatric feeding or fluency
  • Comfort working in a small, independent practice setting

Who Thrives Here

We are especially well-suited for clinicians who are transitioning from a school-based setting into private practice, or who are returning to clinical work after a career pause and want a role that meets them where they are. If you've been waiting for a position that respects your expertise and your life outside of work, this is that job.

But more than any particular background, we're looking for someone who loves this work in the truest sense — who thinks about their kids between sessions, who celebrates the small wins as loudly as the big ones, and who believes that every child in their care is worthy of being fully known and genuinely delighted in. Clinical skill matters enormously here. So does heart.

Pay: $48.00 - $55.00 per hour

  • Professional development assistance
