Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric healthcare, with a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This role involves diagnosing and treating a wide range of childhood conditions, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of our young patients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough medical evaluations and physical examinations of pediatric patients across various age groups.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, utilizing advanced clinical knowledge and diagnostic tools.
• Develop personalized treatment plans, including medication administration, immunizations, and health counseling.
• Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records in electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic platform.
• Educate families on health maintenance, disease prevention, nutrition, and developmental milestones.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of pediatric medicine, including immunizations, growth assessments, and developmental screenings.
• Proficiency in using EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for documentation and patient management.
• Ability to perform procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, and basic life support (BLS).
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum 3 years post-residency experience in pediatrics
