What they need
Experience Knows connects individuals facing major life challenges (addiction, grief, chronic illness, caregiving) with trained peers. Hold 30- or 60-minute non-clinical video sessions, set your own rates, and manage your own schedule.
- How It Works: Provide 1-on-1 peer support based on your lived experience. Bring existing clients or get matched through our platform. We handle scheduling, video hosting, and payment processing.
- Requirements: Personal lived experience, age 18+, private video setup, and a Stripe account. Peer support certification (CPRS, NCPS, or state equivalent) preferred. Must pass two brief onboarding tests on peer boundaries and crisis protocol.
- Position Type: 1099 independent contractor (not employment, therapy, or crisis work).
- Cost: Free to join and earn. Optional paid membership tiers offer extra platform tools and reduced fee cuts.
