Pega Developer- Mid Level

You will develop, configure, and maintain scalable Pega applications that support digital transformation and cloud modernization initiatives at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Collaborating with business analysts and stakeholders, you’ll implement rule-based workflows to improve operational efficiency, transparency, and benefits delivery for Veterans and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Pega applications using Pega PRPC platform and relevant frameworks
• Translate business requirements into functional Pega features, flows, decision rules, and UI components.
• Participate in sprint planning, story refinement, and design reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate on integrations with external systems using REST, SOAP, MQ, or DB connectors.
• Support UAT and performance testing by developing test scenarios and assisting issue resolution.
• Assist in application deployments and contribute to DevOps automation workflows.
• Maintain documentation for configuration changes, rule sets, and SOPs to ensure traceability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with Pega development.
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification required.
• Familiarity with Pega Guardrails, Data Pages, and Case Management practices.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in technical environments.
• Clear communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Ability to pass a government background check, including fingerprinting.
