About the role

BEST PRIMAX SDN. BHD. is seeking a Pemandu Lori (Lorry Driver) to join our dynamic team based in Senai, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our logistics and transport operations. As a Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods across various routes, ensuring timely delivery to our destination.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and drive lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations and company safety policies
• Ensure vehicles are maintained in good working condition and perform routine pre-journey checks
• Transport goods securely to designated destinations, meeting scheduled delivery times
• Load and unload cargo whilst maintaining proper handling procedures and safety standards
• Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times and cargo details
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics coordinators regarding route progress and any delays
• Follow all traffic laws, driving regulations and company policies to ensure road safety
• Report any vehicle defects, accidents or incidents promptly to management
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the company positively when interacting with customers and the public

What we're looking for

• Valid heavy goods vehicle (HGV) or lorry driving licence (Class 3 or equivalent), with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a professional lorry driver or similar vehicle operation role
• Excellent knowledge of traffic regulations, road safety standards and defensive driving techniques
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, basic troubleshooting and pre-journey inspection procedures
• Ability to work flexibly, including early starts, late finishes and occasional weekend shifts
• Good time management and organisational skills to meet delivery schedules consistently
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with team members and customers
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and handle cargo safely
• Professional attitude with a commitment to safety, reliability and customer service
• Preferred: Experience in logistics, courier services or similar transport operations
• Preferred: Familiarity with digital route planning systems and tracking technology
