What they need

Ever tried supporting a business that's changing shape while making sure its people experience stays consistent, commercial and people-focused?

We're looking for a People Advisory Partner (M&A) to join Lomond Group in London, reporting to the Group Head of People Advisory. This is a hybrid role, with three days in the office and two days working from home. Salary range £55k - £60k.

As one of the UK's largest and fastest-growing property services groups, growth through acquisition plays a significant role in how we evolve. In this role, you'll partner closely with stakeholders across the business to support the people aspects of acquisitions and organisational change, helping to integrate new colleagues, embed best practice and ensure a positive employee experience while balancing commercial priorities.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Partner with business leaders to deliver people advisory support across acquisitions and integration activity.
  • Provide commercially focused HR advice that helps managers make informed people decisions.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, ensuring clear communication and a consistent employee experience.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor on employee relations matters.
  • Ensure people processes are delivered compliantly and in line with employment legislation and company policy.
  • Support the integration of acquired businesses, helping to align people practices, processes and ways of working.
  • Coach and guide managers through employee relations cases and people-related challenges.
  • Use insight and data to identify trends, risks and opportunities that support better decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of people policies, processes and initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider People team to deliver an excellent service across the employee lifecycle.

What You'll Need We're not just looking for someone who fits our team; we want to be a good fit for you too! We're looking for individuals with qualities such as:

  • Strong HR advisory experience with the ability to build credibility at all levels.
  • A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and employee relations best practice.
  • Experience supporting organisational change, business transformation or acquisition activity.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance people outcomes and business objectives.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
