People Analytics Specialist

Role Description The People Analytics Specialist at Laboratório de Tratamento de Minérios (LTM) – UFMG will support data-driven decision-making within Human Resources by collecting, organizing, and analyzing workforce-related data. This part-time, remote role involves developing and maintaining dashboards and reports, translating HR data into clear insights, and supporting initiatives related to recruitment, development, engagement, and retention. The specialist will collaborate with HR and leadership to identify key metrics, design analyses, interpret trends, and propose evidence-based recommendations. Responsibilities also include ensuring data quality, documenting methodologies, and communicating findings in accessible formats for diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong People Analytics and HR Analytics skills to design and execute analyses that support HR decision-making.
• Candidates should possess solid Human Resources (HR) knowledge to understand HR processes, policies, and workforce lifecycle data.
• Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Data Analytics capabilities, including data cleaning, visualization, and interpretation.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) and basic knowledge of statistical methods.
• Candidates should possess strong communication skills to present complex findings clearly to non-technical audiences and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Relevant academic background in fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Psychology, Business, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or related disciplines is beneficial.
• Experience working with HR systems, employee surveys, or academic research projects involving human subjects is considered an asset.
