What they need

👋 About Us We are Foundation Partners - a consultancy working with some of the world's most exciting tech companies on all things people + culture. Why? Well, quite simply, not all technology companies have the financial resources, capacity, or experience to tackle the challenges of scaling a business and driving performance. A world-class People, Culture & HR operation is instrumental for this. As such, we’ve built a blended service so companies get the experience and support - both strategically and day to day - that they need to build an exceptional business.

Currently, we are a small but mighty team of 9, with backgrounds in commercial, people + culture, VC and consulting. We have ambitious plans for growth, and as part of that we’re hiring for this super exciting and progressive role.

Alongside Unleashed & JBM, we are part of Amplified - the people services group that supports technology companies from inception to IPO.

💼About The Role This role is a unique opportunity for you to lay early foundations and accelerate your development in career in People + Culture as you’ll get to work with a variety of clients and topics at pace

As a member of a small client-facing business, you’ll work directly with our partners on projects - experienced people and business builders. You’ll work on both the client work itself, as well as being behind the scenes supporting the growth of our own business. This role is well-suited to someone who loves streamlining processes, pays attention to detail, and takes pride in exceptional execution.

You’ll gain exposure to some of the UK’s most exciting startups and scale-ups, learning directly from experienced colleagues while taking on real responsibility from day one. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated by the variety and pace of client work.

Because this is our first Junior Associate hire, you’ll also help shape how the role grows in the future.

🔥 Key Responsibilities Client delivery support

  • Drafting, issuing, filing, and creating templates or automations that speeds up contracts, letters, and other People support we provide to our clients.
  • Managing onboarding, offboarding, and related tasks for multiple clients.
  • Scheduling interviews and coordinating with hiring managers.
  • Supporting our clients with their HRIS and other systems that needs to be kept up to date
  • Collecting benchmarking data, updating spreadsheets, and supporting Associates with data prep.
  • Formatting decks and materials so client deliverables are polished and ready to share.
  • As you grow, you might start drafting and formatting policies, handbooks, and performance review materials using templates and adapting to our clients tone of voice but we will help you step-by-step.

Internal support

  • Helping to prepare proposals, templates, and internal resources.
  • Assisting with systems, tools, and general operations to keep the team running smoothly.

The Skills And Experience You Need We are committed to building a team with diverse experiences, so please consider applying even if you don’t meet every single point below.

  • Some experience in People Ops, HR admin, business operations, or another detail-focused role
  • Strong organisational skills and you keep track of multiple tasks and don’t let things slip.
  • Clear, professional communication both written and verbal.
  • You embrace technology and feel comfortable with tools such as G-Suite, Excel/Sheets, and willingness to learn others (Notion, HRIS, etc).
  • Curiosity about startups and a genuine interest in People + Culture.

⛳️ Compensation, Perks & Benefits

  • £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
  • 25 days holiday
  • £600 annual budget to spend via our benefits platform
  • 4 weeks work from abroad

A People team built for ambitious businesses The old model for People & Talent doesn’t work for today's businesses. We've built a better one.

Traditionally, early-stage Founders had two options: handle People & Talent themselves, losing precious time they should be spending on product or go-to-market, or hire a generalist, expected to cover everything from culture to recruitment to performance. We offer a more impactful alternative: A fully flexible, fractional People & Talent team with specialist skillsets and hands-on delivery, ready to start driving impact for your business in weeks, not months.

Other offers great for you!
