People Experience Operations Intern

Job Description Summary

The People Experience Operations (PXO) Intern will support the People team at Resmed's Johor Bahru manufacturing site, helping to create a positive employee experience through engagement activities, employee events, communications, and people initiatives.

This role provides an opportunity to work closely with site leaders and employees while gaining hands-on exposure to Human Resources in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Employee Engagement & Experience

• Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities, site events, recognition programs, and wellbeing initiatives.
• Assist with employee communications and promote participation in People programs and activities.
• Partner with local leaders and employees to help create a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
• Support employee feedback initiatives and help coordinate engagement campaigns across the site.

HR Operations Support

• Assist with onboarding activities and employee lifecycle administration.
• Help maintain employee records and support data updates within HR systems.
• Provide administrative support for employee-related requests and People team activities.
• Support day-to-day People operations and site initiatives as required.

Projects & Collaboration

• Participate in People Experience projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with reporting, presentations, and employee engagement metrics.
• Collaborate with employees, managers, and cross-functional teams on People-related activities and events.
• Support special projects that enhance employee experience and workplace culture.

Required

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity.

Preferred

• Interest in Employee Experience, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Employee Engagement.
• Experience organizing university events, student activities, or community initiatives is an advantage.
