People Intern

About the role

Stampede Solution is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic People Intern to join our Human Resources team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about human resources and talent management to gain hands-on experience in a growing organisation. Based in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur, this role will provide you with valuable exposure to various HR functions whilst supporting the People team in delivering exceptional service to our employees. This part-time position offers flexibility whilst allowing you to develop your professional skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, including job posting, screening applications, and coordinating interview schedules
• Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation of documentation and orientation materials
• Help maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Assist with employee engagement activities and internal communications
• Support the organisation of HR events, training sessions and team activities
• Provide administrative support to the People team, including scheduling, filing and data entry
• Help with performance management processes and documentation
• Assist with general HR inquiries and employee support requests

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• A proactive and positive attitude with a genuine interest in human resources and people management
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all work undertaken
• Previous internship or HR experience is advantageous but not essential
