At Hyphen, we’re looking for a People Operations Co-Ordinator to support our people operations across our international architecture group. If you enjoy coordinating activities, turning data into useful insights and collaborating with colleagues across countries, we’d love to hear from you.

About the role

Reporting directly to the HR Manager , you’ll coordinate day-to-day people operations and support Group-wide people initiatives, helping ensure consistent, efficient and compliant processes across all offices.

You’ll collaborate with local HR and administration teams, hiring managers, operational colleagues and senior leaders, working with the Chief People Officer on relevant initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • People operations and onboarding: Support and improve people processes across offices, coordinate a welcoming and consistent onboarding experience, and assist local HR and administration teams. Maintain accurate, confidential employee and organisational records, including starters and leavers, in our internal platform, Rapport.
  • People data and reporting: Maintain dashboards, produce regular workforce reports and analyse trends to support leadership decisions. Help audit people data and maintain quality and accuracy across systems.
  • Recruitment and employer brand: Coordinate job advertising, applications, candidate communications and recruitment records. Support hiring managers, ensure recruitment reflects our Employee Value Proposition and manage applicant information in line with GDPR.
  • Learning and development: Administer learning platforms, enrol new starters, assign training, manage user access and report on participation and completion. Support appraisal, development, engagement and strengths-based development programmes.
  • Employee communications: Maintain and develop internal people resources, welcome materials and induction content. Support employee communications and the coordination of our quarterly Hyphen Forum.
  • Policies and compliance: Maintain the Group policy library, coordinate review schedules with policy owners and communicate updates. Support GDPR activities with the Chief People Officer and external Data Protection Officer, ensuring processes follow company policies and legal requirements.
  • Collaboration and continuous improvement: Act as a trusted contact for people operations, build strong relationships across offices and contribute to projects that improve processes and employee experiences, reflecting Hyphen’s values and culture.

What you’ll bring

  • At least 3 years’ experience in HR administration, people operations, business administration or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, reliable work.
  • Experience using HR systems and handling data, reporting and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel , and reporting tools.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and suggest practical improvements.
  • Clear communication and strong stakeholder management skills, building relationships at all levels.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and confidential data management , with sound judgement and discretion.
  • A collaborative approach to working across functions, offices and cultures.
  • Ownership of your responsibilities, the ability to deliver under pressure and a willingness to learn and improve how things work.

Experience that would be an advantage

  • People data management.
  • Recruitment coordination and employer branding.
  • HR processes across multiple countries or locations.
  • Supporting change initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
