People Partner, Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a People Partner, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will serve as a strategic partner to senior engineering and product leaders, helping shape the employee experience and organizational effectiveness across technical teams. You will guide managers and employees through the full lifecycle of people matters while supporting growth, retention, and healthy team performance. The position also partners closely with specialist HR functions to advance workforce initiatives, leadership development, and scalable career frameworks in a fast-paced technical environment.

Location: Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $255,000 – $310,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in Product and Engineering
• Support employees and managers on HR-related topics throughout their lifecycle
• Cultivate a high-performance culture in collaboration with management
• Partner with specialist HR teams to implement talent retention strategies
• Lead cross-functional HR initiatives and training programs
• Collaborate on organizational design and team scaling strategies
• Develop career progression frameworks for technical roles

Qualifications

• 6+ years in HRBP or related functions in fast-paced tech environments
• Experience supporting Product and Engineering teams
• Fluency in North American employment law and HR best practices
• Background in AI/ML or tech startups is preferred
• Familiarity with technical career ladders and engineering culture
• Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to provide practical support
