People Systems Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and forward-thinking People Systems Manager to lead the development of our people systems portfolio, ensuring our technology supports the delivery of outstanding patient care through an engaged, empowered and high-performing workforce.

As we continue to enhance the capabilities of Electronic Staff Record (ESR) and prepare for the implementation of the national Future Workforce Solution (FWS), this role offers the chance to influence and shape how workforce technology is used across one of the largest integrated healthcare organisations in the region.

This is much more than a systems management role.

Reporting into the Head of People Services, you will provide strategic leadership for workforce systems, driving innovation, continuous improvement and digital transformation across People Services.

You will lead a dedicated team responsible for the delivery, development and optimisation of ESR and future workforce technologies, ensuring systems are efficient, integrated, user-friendly and aligned to organisational priorities.

Working closely with clinical, operational and corporate leaders, you will identify opportunities to maximise technology, streamline processes and improve the experience of employees and managers throughout the employment lifecycle.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading the strategic development and management of ESR and associated workforce systems.
• Preparing the organisation for the implementation and ongoing development of the Future Workforce Solution.
• Driving digital transformation projects that improve workforce processes and colleague experience.
• Identifying opportunities to automate and simplify people processes.
• Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to translate organisational needs into innovative system solutions.
• Ensuring data quality, governance, compliance and system integrity.
• Leading, motivating and developing a high-performing systems team.
• Representing the organisation regionally and nationally on workforce systems developments and best practice initiatives.
