Peoplesoft Consultant

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in PeopleSoft Administration.

• Strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 production environments.

• Experience supporting PeopleSoft HR, FIN, and/or ELM applications.

• Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft Internet Architecture (PIA).

• Hands-on experience with:

• Tuxedo

• WebLogic

• Application Server

• Process Scheduler

• PeopleSoft Web Server

• Integration Broker

• Experience working with UNIX/Linux and Windows environments.

• Experience with PeopleSoft installation and configuration.

• Experience with middleware and database installation/configuration.

• Hands-on experience with PUM and PeopleTools upgrades.

• Experience applying PeopleTools, Tuxedo, WebLogic, and critical security patches.

• Strong understanding of Integration Broker Gateway, Nodes, and troubleshooting.

• Experience developing or maintaining monitoring scripts for PeopleSoft environments.

• Experience with OpenSearch installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.

• Experience with SMTP configuration and administration.

• Strong troubleshooting and production support capabilities.

• Good understanding of PeopleSoft performance monitoring and tuning.

• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure issues involving network, operating system, software, and hardware.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with PeopleTools 8.62.
• Experience managing multiple PeopleSoft versions and environments.
• Experience in enterprise multi-instance hosting environments.
• Experience supporting externally integrated PeopleSoft systems.
• Knowledge of enterprise monitoring and log-management solutions.
• Scripting experience for PeopleSoft administration and infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience working in ITIL-based Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management environments.
