Peoplesoft Technical Consultant

We are seeking an Enterprise Systems Developer to design, develop, test, and implement enterprise systems with a focus on PeopleSoft Finance and Supply Chain Management. Under limited supervision, you will work on configuration, reporting, and security while broadening your technical capabilities and business knowledge.

About the Role

This position involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications and integrations while creating and executing business requirements, technical design documents, and test plans. You will recommend improvements, apply standards and procedures, and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes for enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications and integrations
• Create and manage business requirements, technical design documents, and test plans
• Recommend improvements and apply standards, processes, and procedures for application systems
• Create and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes
• Leverage existing standards, processes, and procedures for enterprise systems
• Seek continuous quality improvements for supported systems
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
• 1+ years enterprise systems programming experience
• 1+ years SQL database experience
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies
• Ability to solve moderately complex problems using technical experience and judgment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in Java or C#
• Web design experience (HTML, CSS)
• ANSI SQL knowledge
• Multi-tier application experience
• PeopleSoft GL, AP, AM, PO, TE experience
• SQL Server and Oracle experience

Nice to Have

• Master's degree and/or LOMA certification
• Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge
