Responsibilities

• Administer IV Vitamin Therapy, and shots to patients.
• Performed venepuncture, accessed implanted ports, maintained peripheral IV lines
• Perform infusions and monitor patient's status throughout the entire infusion as well as manage emergency reactions.
• Perform blood draws as per the required instructions provided by the lab.
• Follow state and nursing guidelines and standards
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by applying principles of medical asepsis and infection control techniques and universal precautions
• Liaise with admin and other medical team members pre and post-therapy and participate in shared decision making
• Accurately use the online booking systems
• Assist with callbacks to patients with questions.
• Provided documentation to the Admin team for submission to EHR
• Prepare and track inventory to maintain 100% in stock of supplies and Vitamin therapy.
• Maintains up-to-date Nurse education including knowledge of the internet for IV Infusion Completes other tasks within the scope of the registered nurse.

Qualifications

• BA of science in nursing, an associate degree in nursing, or have graduated from an accredited and approved nursing program. Previous experience in IV Infusion is desirable. Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• Critical thinking, compassionate, non-judgmental, with attention to detail, and organized. Calm under pressure and ability to work unsupervised.
• Needs to be a patient listener, a good communicator, and demonstrate the ability to establish effective working relationships with other staff as well as with referral sources Client confidentiality and discretion are essential.
