Performance & Risk Analyst

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a Performance & Risk Analyst to support the analysis and design of business systems. The role involves understanding and translating the needs of the assigned customer group from both business and technical perspectives, ensuring effective implementation and testing of systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and coordinate the design of business systems to align with organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the needs of the designated customer group from business and technical viewpoints.
• Collaborate closely with clients and various system groups to gather and document business requirements.
• Oversee the development and execution of systems testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Act as a communication bridge between business user groups and technical system teams to facilitate smooth project progress.

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment performance, portfolio analytics, risk reporting, fund accounting, or financial operations.
• Experience preparing and reviewing client-facing investment reports with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness.
• Experience supporting new client onboarding, including data validation, report setup, requirements gathering, and implementation activities.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with SQL, VBA, Python, or investment performance/risk systems is an advantage.
• Experience and proficiency using FacSet
• Proven experience in analyzing and designing business systems.
• Demonstrated ability to support non-BAU initiatives, process improvements, and project-related activities.
• Ability to understand and interpret customer needs from both business and technical sides.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
• Experience in overseeing systems testing processes.
• Excellent communication skills to serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with business requirement gathering and documentation.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement technical solutions.
• Knowledge of systems testing methodologies and best practices.
