Performance Marketer - Google PPC (with Meta Ads)

We are looking for an experienced Google PPC specialist with at least 2 years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns. The candidate should have strong expertise in search campaign strategy, keyword research, bidding, performance optimisation, and scaling campaigns profitably. Working knowledge of Meta Ads is an added advantage, as the role will also support paid social campaigns alongside Google.
The role involves managing Google Ads campaigns, and supporting Meta advertising, to generate leads, conversions, and measurable ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, and Demand Gen.
• Conduct keyword research and build well-structured campaigns and ad groups, using match types and negative keywords effectively.
• Write and test compelling ad copy and manage ad assets (sitelinks, callouts, structured snippets, etc.).
• Manage Smart Bidding strategies (Target CPA, Target ROAS, Maximise Conversions) and optimise for CPL, CPA, and ROAS.
• Improve Quality Score, ad relevance, and landing page experience.
• Set up and manage remarketing and audience segments within Google Ads.
• Conduct A/B testing on ads, landing pages, bidding strategies, and audiences.
• Manage campaign budgets and scale high-performing campaigns.
• Implement and maintain conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager, GA4, and enhanced conversions.
• Analyse search term reports, campaign data, and auction insights, and provide performance reports and recommendations.
• Support Meta Ads campaigns, including audience targeting, retargeting, and creative testing.
• Work with designers and content teams to create high-performing ad creatives and landing pages.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Ads (Search and Performance Max essential)
• Expertise in lead generation and conversion-focused campaigns
• Solid understanding of keyword strategy, match types, Quality Score, and Smart Bidding
• Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, conversion tracking, and enhanced conversions
• Understanding of Consent Mode and offline conversion imports
• Strong analytical and optimisation skills, with confidence in Excel / Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns and accounts

Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Meta Pixel, Conversions API (CAPI), and Events Manager
• Experience handling multiple client accounts, ideally UK or international clients
• Experience in the property or real estate sector
• Understanding of landing page optimisation and CRO
• Google Ads certifications
• Familiarity with Looker Studio for reporting
