Performance Test Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Performance Tester with hands-on experience in performance testing tools such as NeoLoad, Apache JMeter, and LoadRunner. The candidate should have experience in load, stress, and scalability testing, performance bottleneck analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using NeoLoad, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
• Perform load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Monitor application performance, response times, throughput, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare performance test plans, test scenarios, execution reports, and recommendations.
• Conduct root cause analysis and support performance optimization.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines, where applicable.

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience with NeoLoad, JMeter, and/or LoadRunner.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in scripting, workload modelling, test execution, and result analysis.
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, APIs, and web application architecture.
• Experience in performance monitoring and bottleneck identification.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or New Relic.
• Knowledge of SQL and database performance analysis.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to cloud performance testing and distributed load generation.
