Performance Tester

About the role

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Performance Tester to join our dynamic team on a contract basis. As a Performance Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our software applications. Based in our Pasig City office, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive performance tests to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and execute performance test scripts to simulate real-world user scenarios and measure application responsiveness, scalability, and stability
• Analyze performance test results and generate detailed reports to highlight areas for improvement
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve performance issues
• Recommend and implement performance-enhancing solutions, such as infrastructure changes or code optimizations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest performance testing tools and methodologies, and continuously improve testing strategies
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on performance testing best practices

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in performance testing, with a strong understanding of performance testing principles and methodologies
• Proficiency in using performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
• Solid understanding of web application architectures, software design patterns, and performance optimization techniques
• Experience in analyzing and interpreting performance test results, and translating them into actionable insights
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex performance issues
• Familiarity with Agile software development processes and experience in working with cross-functional teams
