Performance Tester

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Performance Tester to join our dynamic team in Alpharetta. With over 10 years of experience in performance testing, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify performance bottlenecks and implement solutions that enhance user experience and system efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate application performance under various load conditions.
• Analyze performance test results and provide detailed reports on findings, including recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify performance issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Utilize performance testing tools to simulate user load and monitor application behavior.
• Conduct root cause analysis of performance issues and work with teams to implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and quality assurance.
• Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on performance testing methodologies and tools.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in performance testing, with a strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, or similar) for test automation.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in cloud-based performance testing and monitoring.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of application performance monitoring tools such as New Relic or AppDynamics.

Pay: $51.00 - $55.00 per hour
