Performance Tester Engineer

The Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for assessing, validating, and optimizing the performance, scalability, and stability of applications under different workloads. The role focuses on designing and executing performance tests, developing automation scripts, analyzing test results, and identifying potential bottlenecks to ensure reliable and high-performing applications.

The ideal candidate has experience in performance testing, test automation, and scripting, with proficiency in at least one programming language such as JavaScript, Java, Python, or Groovy.

Contract type: B2B Work model: Hybrid Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute performance tests to evaluate application responsiveness, stability, scalability, and reliability.

Create and maintain automated performance testing scripts and frameworks.

Perform load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Analyze test results and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to investigate performance issues and support their resolution.

Develop and maintain scripts using JavaScript, Java, Python, Groovy, or other relevant programming languages.

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and automated testing processes.

Monitor application performance under different workloads and validate system behavior against performance requirements.

Prepare performance test reports and provide actionable recommendations for optimization.

Contribute to improving performance testing strategies, automation practices, and testing frameworks.

Requirements Programming Languages: JavaScript, Java, Python, Groovy .

Proven experience in performance testing and performance test automation.

Strong understanding of performance testing concepts, including load, stress, endurance, and scalability testing.

Experience with scripting and automation for performance testing.

Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or k6.

Ability to analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot application performance issues.

Understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, and client-server architecture.

Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools is an advantage.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into delivery workflows is a plus.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
