YOUR ROLE

A Performance Tester is responsible for assessing the speed, stability, scalability, and reliability of applications by designing and executing performance tests using Apache JMeter and other monitoring tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and non-functional requirements (NFRs).

• Design and develop performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.

• Create test scenarios for:

  • Load Testing
  • Stress Testing
  • Volume Testing
  • Endurance/Soak Testing
  • Spike Testing

• Parameterize test data and implement correlations in JMeter scripts.

• Configure and execute test runs.

• Monitor application, database, and server performance during testing.

• Analyze response times, throughput, CPU, memory, and network utilization.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations.

• Prepare performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.

• Work closely with developers, infrastructure, and business teams to troubleshoot issues.

• Support CI/CD integration for performance testing where required.

YOUR PROFILE

Required Qualifications:

• 2-6 years of performance testing experience.

• Strong knowledge of Apache JMeter.

• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services.

• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as:

  • Grafana
  • Kibana
  • Dynatrace
  • AppDynamics
  • New Relic

• Knowledge of SQL and database performance testing.

• Basic Linux/Unix commands.

• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.

• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
