Description Position Summary: The Perioperative Services Manager administers, supervises and coordinates all peri-operative services. The peri-operative manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the surgical services for the organization. The manager is responsible for budgeting; employee supervision; planning and directing work of employees; and addressing complaints and resolving problems within and between departments, continually collaborating with providers. This position evaluates clinical practices to maintain a high standard of care and implements improvements as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• Incumbents with a strong background in peri-operative services management is necessary
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in peri-operative and/or in a healthcare/clinical background required
• Consideration of education and related experiences may be evaluated for outstanding candidates
• Previous surgical services management experience is required
• BLS for non-clinical/licensed managers is required
• ACLS is required for clinical/degreed managers.
