Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled, patient focused Board Certified Periodontist to join our Gaithersburg Perio & Implants location. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional clinical care, committed to excellence, and experienced in advanced periodontal procedures and implant dentistry.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat periodontal disease and complex periodontal conditions.
• Market the practice to gain referring doctors.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Stay current with advancements in periodontology through continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Periodontology is required.
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure to practice dentistry; specialty certification in periodontology is essential.
• Proven experience as a periodontist.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and engage patients.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary dental team.
