Duties

• Install holiday lighting displays using hand tools and electrical equipment, ensuring secure and visually appealing setups.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues with diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to identify faults in lighting systems or wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately install and repair complex lighting arrangements.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs on faulty lighting components or wiring, maintaining high safety standards.
• Use electronic testing equipment to verify system performance and troubleshoot electronic systems troubleshooting issues efficiently.
• Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, repairs, and system diagnostics for quality assurance.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining system functions, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction with completed work.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a service technician or in electrical troubleshooting within field service environments.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, electrical schematic reading and interpretation, and electronic equipment testing.
• Proficiency with hand tools, soldering techniques, electrical soldering, and the use of diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and schematics.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints and engineering troubleshooting guides accurately.
• Experience with computer hardware setup or networking is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on maintenance and electronic systems troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service orientation with clear communication skills to interact professionally with clients.
• Physical ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while installing or repairing lighting displays.
