Permanent Lighting Installer

Job Summary

JCTrimlight installs permanent LED track lighting on homes and businesses across Johnson County and the Kansas City metro. We're looking for independent installers to mount and set up our lighting systems on a per-job basis. You'll install a clean aluminum track along rooflines, run and connect the lights, and make sure everything works and looks sharp before you leave. If you've worked in gutters, roofing, siding, holiday lighting, or low-voltage, you already have most of the skills you need. Pay is per job, and you'll get steady work through our busy seasons.

What You'll Do

Install permanent LED track and lights along rooflines, soffits, and fascia

Measure, cut, and fit track so it looks clean and blends in with the home

Run low-voltage wire through attics and walls to reach power supplies and outlets

Connect power supplies and controllers

Test the system and make sure lights and controls work before finishing

Leave every job site clean and treat customers' homes with respect

What You Need

Experience in a related trade like gutters, roofing, siding, holiday lighting, or low-voltage

Comfortable on ladders and rooflines and working at heights

Comfortable working in attics, including tight, hot, and dusty spaces

Reliable truck and your own basic hand and power tools

Valid driver's license and a clean background check

Detail-oriented, with pride in clean, professional work

Pay: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week
