Permit Runner (Technician) – Energy Masters

At Energy Masters, we’re a growing HERS testing and permit service company that works with HVAC contractors, builders, and homeowners across Southern California. We’re looking for a Permit Runner/Technician who’s detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where every day is a little different.

What You’ll Do

• Travel locally to pull permits in person at local city and county offices
• Prepare and submit building and HVAC permits through city and county online portals
• Complete and sign paperwork as needed
• Communicate professionally with clients, city staff, and inspectors
• Review and organize project documents for accuracy and completeness

• You take pride in doing things accurately and efficiently
• You’re comfortable learning city processes and working with multiple jurisdictions
• You’re looking for a stable, long-term position with room to grow

Qualifications

• A working vehicle
• Valid Drivers License
• Willingness to travel up to 70 miles from home
• Experience with permit processing or administrative work (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Computer-savvy and comfortable using online portals and email daily
• Detail-oriented and reliable
• High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Pay:

• $22-25 per Hour
