Permitting Construction Program Coordinator

BDG Architects has an opening for a Development Services Program Coordinator, working from our downtown Tampa, FL office. In this position the team member will be involved with a variety of development services and administrative support functions. Experience in construction, engineering, architecture or planning preferred.

Duties/Responsibilities

· Track Procore responses / timelines for active projects and update the project architect with aging response times.

· Assist with prototype change directive creation and issuance.

· Coordinate within house design leads and client decisions makers.

· Distribute approved change directives.

· Upload addendums and project related data to client’s project management software.

· Assist with program tracking and updates in Smartsheets, Excel, and One Note.

· Research permitting requirements and prepare permit applications for muti discipline permitting.

· Complete and submit permit applications to the authorities having jurisdiction.

· Track permitting progress and update client tracking data.

· Create comment response letter and coordinate with Architects and consultants for responding to permit review comments.

· Due Diligence o research and attending pre-application meetings.

· Assist with creation of Due Diligence reports.

Required Skills/Abilities

· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the administrative areas of planning, architecture, civil engineering and/or construction is preferred

· Information gathering and monitoring

· Excellent communication skills - written and verbal

· Problem assessment and problem solving

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

· Values accuracy and thoroughness in all work with strict and careful attention to detail

· Customer service oriented

· Adaptable and values teamwork

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
