Permitting Coordinator

About the role

Responsible for coordinating, processing, and monitoring all required permits, licenses, clearances, and regulatory approvals for the Kaliwa Dam Outlet Diversion Tunnel – Phase 1 project in Teresa, Rizal. The role involves liaising with relevant government agencies and local authorities, coordinating environmental and construction permitting requirements, maintaining accurate permit registers and documentation, and monitoring compliance with applicable regulations and approval conditions. The coordinator will work closely with project management, engineering, construction, and environmental teams to ensure timely approvals and minimize permitting-related delays to project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate permits, licenses, clearances, and approvals required for project construction
• Coordinate with DENR, EMB, LGUs, and other relevant government agencies
• Monitor applicable ECC conditions, environmental permits, and regulatory commitments
• Track applicable local permits, excavation clearances, road access approvals, and other construction-related authorizations
• Maintain the master permitting register, application records, renewal schedules, and approved permits
• Track deadlines, regulatory requirements, inspection findings, and outstanding approvals
• Work with Engineering, Construction, Environmental, Safety, and Legal teams to prevent permitting delays

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Legal Management, Public Administration, or a related field
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in permitting, regulatory compliance, or infrastructure construction
• Knowledge of Philippine permitting procedures and government coordination
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, documentation, and compliance tracking
• Experience working with multicultural teams and international stakeholders is an advantage
• Willing to work on-site at the Kaliwa Dam Outlet Diversion Tunnel project in Teresa, Rizal
• Willing to work according to project operational requirements and schedules
