Personal Assistant - Adult Special Needs Support

Key Responsibilities

• In‑Home Support (Teaching the consumer):

  • Light cleaning and household upkeep
  • Laundry and basic home organization
  • Meal preparation and cooking

• Community Support:

  • Accompanying client to activities and outings
  • Supporting participation in community events

• Transportation & Errands (assisting/teaching the consumer):

  • Grocery shopping
  • Doctor appointments
  • Bank visits, post office runs, and other essential errands

• Care Plan Implementation:

  • Follow outcomes and goals outlined in the client’s personal plan
  • Communicate progress or concerns with the client’s support team
