Position Overview:

This is a wonderful opportunity to support a talented entrepreneur and make a unique impact on the CEO's private life. You will have the opportunity to manage a diverse range of tasks, and unlike a traditional office secretary, you will work exclusively for one individual who is fluent in both Japanese and English, with a preference for English communication.

As an independent contractor, you can enjoy the flexibility of working on any day of the week (including weekends if you prefer) at any time of day with the occasional need to make calls during business hours and no work required on holidays. You will track your hours and submit a monthly invoice. The workload ranges from 20 to 40 hours per month. You will be paid hourly DOE in addition to performance bonuses.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in Japanese and English with previous experience as an aide, executive assistant or personal assistant. All activities can be done remotely, at a time of day you prefer, and in Japan timezone. The pay indicated is the minimum hourly rate and a higher rate may be accorded depending on your skills.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform extensive research to identify and recommend high quality products and services (e.g. food, plants, spas, etc)
• Secure appointments and bookings via phone calls (e.g. doctors, taxis, restaurants, etc)
• Prioritize tasks and assist in organizing the principal’s life

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently based in Japan (Tokyo preferred)
• You must be completely fluent in Japanese and English with superior communication skills
• At least 3 years working as a personal assistant or similar position
• Skilled in conducting high-quality research with good decision making abilities
• Attention to detail, hospitable attitude and dedication to excellence
