Personal Assistant

About the Role:

A full-time position has become available for a Personal Assistant to join my team in a friendly, family-oriented setting. This year has brought a lot of change for me, particularly with my health but things are much better now. I am working towards becoming my usual adventurous self, making new friends and taking on new challenges, I require 24-hour support on 1:1 care.

A requirement of the role will be to work Day shift or Waking Nights.

Responsibilities:

• Provide supportive care and assistance in daily activities. Including personal care.
• Promote a positive and cheerful environment filled with laughter and humour.
• Collaborate with a team on a rolling rota basis, working weekends, overnights and covering annual leave.
• Flexibility to cover sickness and annual leave, which may include day shifts, waking nights and bank holidays.

Required Qualifications:

• Dog lover! A passion for pets is essential.
• Driver (Over 25) with a valid driver's license.
• Good communicator with a cheerful demeanour, patience and a love for music always helps!
• Female is essential.
• A sense of “banter” and good humour is very important.
• Medical or nursing background is ideal but not essential; training will be provided, including moving and handling and hoist training, PEG training and stoma training.
• The ability to be flexible with day to day activities.
• Must complete an enhanced DBS check.

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24.0 per week
