What they need
Personal Assistant to Mortgage Broker
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support a busy, high-performing Mortgage Broker. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes initiative and is committed to delivering an outstanding client experience.
As the broker’s right hand, you will manage day-to-day priorities, coordinate client communications and help ensure mortgage applications progress smoothly from initial enquiry through to completion. The role is particularly well suited to someone with strong administrative skills and exceptional attention to detail; experience in financial services or another regulated industry would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the broker’s diary, appointments, meetings and client follow-ups.
· Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls and emails in a professional, timely manner.
· Prepare documentation, collect client information and maintain accurate CRM records.
· Provide administrative support for mortgage applications and case progression.
· Liaise effectively with lenders, solicitors, estate agents and clients.
· Monitor key dates, follow up on outstanding information and keep cases progressing.
· Prepare reports and maintain complete, accurate and compliant records.
· Undertake general administrative duties to support efficient day-to-day operations.
About You
· Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with a customer-focused approach.
· A consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
· Sound judgement when handling confidential and sensitive information.
· A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to take ownership.
· Confidence working independently and prioritising tasks effectively.
· Experience in financial services, property or an administrative role is desirable but not essential.
· Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office and email management.
What We Offer
· A friendly and supportive working environment.
· Training on mortgage processes and industry systems.
· Opportunities for development and progression within the role.
· Flexible working options.
· A competitive salary.
