In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth operation of the Principal’s daily life by managing a variety of personal, household, and lifestyle-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, technologically capable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change quickly.
This position requires exceptional judgment, attention to detail, and complete discretion. The successful candidate will have a hands-on, “no task is too big or too small” approach and will take pride in completing every responsibility with care, efficiency, and follow-through.
Key Responsibilities

- Organize and track requests, appointments, projects, errands, and follow-up items.
- Communicate promptly and professionally through text, email, telephone, and Microsoft Planner.
- Prioritize incoming requests by distinguishing urgent, high-priority needs from routine or lower-priority tasks.
- Adjust plans and pivot smoothly when schedules, needs, or priorities change.
- Coordinate appointments, reservations, deliveries, vendors, service providers, and household-related activities.
- Handle personal errands, shopping, returns, gifting, research, and special requests.
- Maintain clear and organized records, lists, schedules, receipts, and other documentation.
- Monitor outstanding responsibilities and follow through to ensure that nothing is overlooked.
- Anticipate the Principal’s needs and proactively address potential issues.
- Learn and use new applications, systems, and technology as required.
- Handle personal, financial, and family information with absolute discretion and confidentiality.
- Provide weekend support at the Principal’s residence and remain available for urgent matters when required.
- Perform additional personal and administrative duties as needs arise.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in a similar high-level support role for a Principal, high-net-worth individual, or private family office.
- Reliable, dependable, and committed to consistent follow-through.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
- A razor-sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to work comfortably and confidently in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Ability to assess urgency, establish priorities, and make sound decisions.
- Flexibility and composure when navigating changing schedules and priorities.
- A hands-on, service-oriented attitude with the belief that no task is too big or too small.
- Absolute discretion when handling confidential personal, financial, and family matters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Comfort using text, email, and Microsoft Planner to communicate, organize, and track responsibilities.
- Strong general technology skills and the ability to learn unfamiliar systems quickly.
- Flexibility in scheduling and willingness to be available for urgent or time-sensitive matters.
- Ability to work in office three days per week, selected by candidate; and provide weekend support at the Principal’s residence.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is trustworthy, resourceful, responsive, and naturally attentive to detail. This person takes ownership of responsibilities, communicates clearly, and remains calm when priorities shift.
Success in this role requires someone who notices what needs to be done, determines what is most important, and completes each task with urgency, discretion, and care.
