Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Aide to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Support clients in mobility and transportation, including driving to appointments or social activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
• Engage clients in social activities and provide companionship to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Assist with personal care tasks in various settings including long-term care facilities, assisted living homes, personal care homes, or group homes.

Skills

• Strong ability to drive safely and assist clients with transportation needs.
• Capability to lift and support clients as needed while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Experience or knowledge in medication administration practices.
• Familiarity with long-term care principles and practices within assisted living environments.
• Compassionate approach to senior care and direct support for individuals with varying needs.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
