Duties

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Provide compassionate patient care tailored to individual needs, including medication reminders and health monitoring
• Support meal preparation and feeding to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
• Help with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary, to prevent falls and injuries
• Administer medications accurately following prescribed instructions and document all care activities diligently
• Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation

Experience

• Prior assisted living or nursing home experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities in home or facility settings
• Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, or other specialized senior care is advantageous
• Proven ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Familiarity with medication administration procedures and basic nursing tasks is a plus
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and connect with clients

Pay: $20.50-$27.24 per hour

Expected hours: 28.0 per week
