Personal Care Aide/PRN

Your efforts will support residents with daily activities and promote their overall well-being in a warm, respectful environment.

Duties

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
• Follow safe patient lifting practices and manual handling procedures to prevent injury during transfers or repositioning
• Maintain resident rights by respecting privacy, confidentiality, and individual preferences at all times
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary to promote proper nutrition and hydration
• Support group activities or social engagement initiatives that enhance participants’ quality of life
• Perform light cleaning duties to uphold a safe and hygienic environment within care settings
• Drive or accompany participants on outings or appointments using standard passenger cars, ensuring safety at all times

Experience

• Previous experience working in in-home healthcare.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, memory care, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques
• Knowledge of resident’s rights and long-term care regulations to ensure compliance and quality standards
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
• Experience operating vehicles for client transportation or community outings is a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
