What they need

Healing Minds Psychology is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to join our growing team. We are committed to providing person-centred support that promotes dignity, independence, wellbeing, and quality of life. This is an opportunity to work in a supportive and respectful environment where your contribution can make a genuine difference in the lives of our clients.

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide personalised support to clients based on their individual needs and care plans. Your responsibilities may include assisting with personal care and daily living activities, supporting mobility and independence, preparing meals, providing companionship and emotional support, assisting clients with appointments and community activities, and helping with household tasks where required. You will also work collaboratively with families and other healthcare and allied health professionals to ensure clients receive safe, consistent, and high-quality care.

We are looking for someone who is caring, patient, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about supporting others. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, a professional and respectful approach, and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families. Previous experience in personal care, disability support, aged care, community care, or a similar role is highly desirable. A relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Ageing Support, Disability, or an equivalent qualification will be highly regarded.

Applicants should have the relevant checks and certifications required for the role, including First Aid and CPR certification, a police check, and an NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check where applicable. A valid driver's licence and reliable transport may also be required depending on client needs and the position.

At Healing Minds Psychology, we value our team and are committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace. We offer flexible working arrangements, competitive remuneration, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced healthcare and allied health professionals.

If you are compassionate, dependable, and passionate about helping people live with greater independence, dignity, and wellbeing, we would love to hear from you. Join Healing Minds Psychology and become part of a team dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people we support.
