Duties

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility needs
• Support with meal preparation and feeding as required
• Help clients adhere to their individual care plans, ensuring their comfort and safety
• Accompany clients on outings or appointments, utilising driving skills when necessary
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
• Support with light household tasks to promote a clean and safe environment
• Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to minimise risks

Skills

• Proficiency in driving and a valid driving licence is essential for supporting clients outside the home
• Experience working in and SEND is advantageous
• Ability to understand and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
• Good command of English, both spoken and written, for effective communication
• Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating records
• Excellent communication skills to build trust and rapport with clients and team members
• Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality personal care
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: From £16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
