About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Assistant (Night Shift) to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to residents throughout the night, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing while promoting independence and dignity. Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will play an important role in maintaining a safe, caring, and responsive environment for our residents.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide mobility and transfer assistance in accordance with safe work practices.
• Support residents with meals and hydration as required.
• Monitor resident wellbeing and promptly report any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse.
• Respond to resident needs throughout the night in a professional and compassionate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
• Follow individual care plans to ensure residents receive person-centred care.
• Accurately document care provided and communicate effectively during handovers.

Your Skills & Experience

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar care environment (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to provide respectful, person-centred care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently during night shifts.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
