Job Overview

PRN Caregiver - “as needed” employment.

As a PRN caregiver:

• Work only when needed, rather than having a fixed weekly schedule.
• May be asked to cover staff shortages, vacations, busy periods, or call-outs.
• Usually have more flexibility, but fewer guaranteed hours.
• For example, a PRN caregiver might work 1–4 shifts in a month or more, depending on the facilities needs and the shift availability.
• You must already have experience as a caregiver to be a candidate for this position.
• You must have a clear level 2 background screen

Join our compassionate team as a Personal Care Assistant in our Assisted Living Community.

Duties include but not limited to:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity
• Monitor patients’ health by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report any concerns promptly
• Following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of personal spaces
• Skills
• Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities or in senior care settings such as nursing homes or assisted living facilities
• Strong knowledge of dementia or Alzheimer’s care strategies
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, patient transfers
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family updates, and team collaboration
• Knowledge of first aid, CPR certification, and basic life support procedures to respond effectively in emergencies.
