Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior
• Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA confidentiality standards
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet individual dietary needs
• Operate specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or transfer devices to ensure safe patient handling
• Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation tasks
• Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient progress or concerns

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care settings preferred
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer’s and memory care), and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality practices
• Hands-on experience with medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and care planning
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate supportive equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
• Experience providing compassionate care for seniors, hospice patients, or those with chronic conditions like dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
• Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
